Iranian actress Halimeh Saeedi dies at 87

Actress in iFilm’s comedy ‘Sweet and Sour’, Halimeh Saeedi, has deceased.

The sweet grandmother of Iranian TV series passed away on February 11 at the age of 87.

Following the release of her passing, Amir Ghaffarmanesh, who played the role of her son in iFilm’s ‘The Occupiers’ posted a tribute on his social media page saying, “Rest in Peace my mother. My dear sweet mother. You were so cool. You weren’t an actor, you weren’t a comedian, but your nature was sweet and comedic and you were born an actor. One nation laughed with you and now everyone will remember you and wish you blessings. Rest in Peace my mother”.

The late Saeedi brought to life several funny characters in various TV series and cinematic features, some of which are ‘Cops and Robbers’, ‘Breath’ and ‘The Outcast 3’.
